Partenerii proiectului RESILIENT PRESCHOOLS s-au intalnit online, inca din decembrie 2020, pentru a elabora, testa si furniza resurse de inalta calitate si bazate pe dovezi pentru educatorii prescolari, pornind de la principiile psihologiei pozitive si ale modelului PERMA.

International Hellenic University (IHU) was invited to participate in the International Week (16-19 November 2021) organized by the Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, Bachelor of Preschool Education in Gent, Belgium. During this week IHU conducted three workshops entitled „Positive Education: Supporting children’s Positive Behaviors”, where academics and students from several EU countries had the opportunity to be informed about the „Resilient Preschools” project. In total 110 individuals (academics, teaching staff and students) participated in the workshops, where they were trained in selected activities of IO2 and they encouraged to visit the project’s website as well as project’s social media to find more information about the project.

SCOPUL NOSTRU

Proiectul REZILIENȚA ÎN ÎNVĂȚĂMÂNTUL PREȘCOLAR va crea materiale pentru aplicații practice și îndrumare adresate profesorilor din învățământul preșcolar, menite a-i sprijini să utilizeze principiile psihologiei pozitive în activitățile de predare.

DE CE

Profesorii din învățământul preșcolar tind, de cele mai multe ori, să se concentreze pe performanța academică în detrimentul competențelor socio-emoționale. Dar copiii au nevoie de o abordare holistică ce pune în evidență tăria de caracter ce îi va ajuta să se adapteze eficient într-o societate plină de provocări și aflată în continuă schimbare.

PROIECTUL

Proiectul RESILIENT PRESCHOOLS se concentrează pe consolidarea capacității educatorilor preșcolari de a încuraja rezistența psihologică a copiilor și, prin urmare, de a proteja bunăstarea lor generală.
Cofinanțat de Comisia Europeană prin programul Erasmus+, proiectul implică 6 organizații din 5 țări din Europa pentru a dezvolta resurse de calitate pentru o cultură pozitivă a preșcolari, pe baza practicilor de psihologie pozitivă și a descoperirilor științifice.

Our team had the honour to participate in the Annual Conference of the International School Psychology Association (ISPA), the largest global school psychology association affiliated with UNESCO, presenting our work and findings from various initiatives and research projects we have been working on. The Conference was held in Cyprus between July 13th and 16th and our involvement in its workings, with multiple presentations, provided an excellent opportunity for us to showcase the work we do to contribute to policy development for education, teachers and learners’ well-being, and school improvement.
